2. When you do posting be careful in selecting keywords for the post you can use google adwords to search for optimized keyword using google keyword tool.There in the box provided key in the words and select a word that has more searches and less competition("you can get clear idea if you use google adwords).After fetching the keyword use it in the post title and two three times in the body of the post.Use long tail keywords when you are baby blogger as it may give a consistent traffic as for highly competitive words there may be big boys on Net in front you are hard to stand on initial stages so think how to get traffic.For example your blog contains information about restaurants so for the keyword do not use restaurant as there may be many using the word instead use restaurant in chicago(if u have one in chicago and bog focuses that)So you may not get many users by using long tail users but it reaches the correct batch where one searches for chicago restaurant and he is going to get benefited from your blog if you give a quality information on your blog and you should make him revisit that shoul be the goal. searching I will write a elaborate article on how to use google keywords tool soon on my blog as here I just ponder over important points in SEO and troubles shooting tips for certain issues.
3. Submit your blog to google and see that your blog is indexed only then for searches your blog will be luusted.To check whether your blog is indexed or not type site:blogname.blogspot.com your blog with post title that you have made should be listed then you can assume google as indesed your blog.
4. At the same time submit your blog to all search engines.
5. Build backlinks to build traffic (go to backlink providing site,select top back link sites ,register your blog they will provide you a code to paste on your blog do so back link is created )You get traffic from those sources.
6. Go to blogs that has high traffic revelant to your information drop a comment do not for to lrave a link of your blog there as it is also a source of traffic
7. Searh for quality bookmark site submit your site there and also submit article of your blog on article submission site like Ezine.com(best site)
8. Create rss feed oon feed burner to keep updating with latest post.
9. Add fan page of this blog in faebook and include in the site.

So now that you know how do a blog posting you must know to handle with SEO concept which includes to use webmaster tools.you should submit your sitemap of the blog to google as only then, google can know the pages inside your blog and that can lead for your blog being be listed on google search for any keywords that is being searched.I faced difficulty creating sitemap for my blog so instead I added /atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500 in the text box peovided when clicking on Sumit a site map it works the same as submitting site map.When using webmaster tools sign in gmail account that you have for the blog and select a blog for which you want to apply he features of webmaster tools.Before submitting you need to verify the site.Once verified the it accepts the site map.xml or atom.xml.So my sitemap work is done.
11. I faced an issue lie my post were delayed in getting indexed so I used Webmaster tool's fetch as google bot there you need to provide the url of the post that was not indexed after successful fetch you can submit o index the url.You can submit 50 Url in a week.
12. Keep updating your blog regularly with unique information.
13. Add meta tags for description,author,title and keywords.
